Responsibilities
- Safely and timely deliver food packages, restaurant orders, and retail goods to customers across Austin
- Maintain accurate delivery records and GPS navigation systems for route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle payment transactions
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical functionality
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers via mobile app
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze) and delivery platforms
- Strong time-management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Basic knowledge of Austin neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company-provided vehicle if available)
