Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Load, secure, and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Route Management: Navigate efficiently through Louisville and surrounding areas to ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service to all customers, including residential and commercial clients.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork as required.
- Vehicle Care: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver’s License required.
- Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery or logistics is preferred but not mandatory (training provided).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Technology: Comfortable using a handheld scanner and GPS navigation systems.
