Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to commercial and residential addresses
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
- Secure packages during transit and obtain proper signatures for high-value items
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual/automatic transmissions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Proficiency using smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking software
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Flexible availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
