Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally and handling packages with care.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently using our advanced GPS and navigation systems to optimize time and fuel consumption.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Handle documentation accurately, including delivery receipts and mileage logs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of safety by adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- U.S. Citizenship or Legal Work Authorization.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Smartphone Proficiency: Must possess a reliable smartphone for logging duties and navigation.
- High School Diploma or GED (equivalent experience considered).
- Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
