Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in El Paso and surrounding areas.
- Obtain customer signatures and verify delivery details to ensure accuracy.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Practice defensive driving techniques at all times to ensure the safety of packages and the public.
- Assist customers with any questions or concerns regarding their orders.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and appearance while on the clock.
- Report any vehicle issues, damages, or delivery exceptions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License is required.
- A clean driving record with no recent DUIs or serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps (GPS, Google Maps).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
