Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in the Louisville metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and handling of all packages.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients at every delivery stop.
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US driver's license.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
