Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial destinations in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and the company vehicle appearance.
- Utilize handheld devices to manage delivery routes and status updates accurately.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B or Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, but Class C is acceptable for non-CDL routes.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Must be available to start immediately.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery data.
