Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated delivery locations in a timely manner.
- Verify and record amounts of goods loaded and unloaded onto delivery vehicles.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring cargo safety during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during the delivery process, including obtaining signatures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery incidents immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Proof of auto insurance and current vehicle registration.
