As a Delivery Driver with SwiftConnect, you will play a vital role in our logistics network, ensuring our customers receive their orders safely and on time. We value safety, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations across the Houston metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle package handling with the utmost care and accuracy.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries and optimize daily routes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the vehicle interior at all times.
- Document delivery times and any issues encountered during the route.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 90 days.
- Clean driving record with no recent major infractions or DUIs.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong commitment to punctuality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Basic computer literacy for logging daily activities.
