Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to residential and commercial addresses.
- Interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle interior and exterior.
- Use handheld devices for navigation, logging, and reporting delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial operator's permit.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required) with no serious violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and navigation apps.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
