Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic delivery records (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with mobile devices for scanning.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
