Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies during delivery runs.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Utilize handheld delivery technology to scan packages and update delivery status in real-time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use mobile devices/tablets for delivery management.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
