Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to Cleveland-area destinations
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely and efficient service
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any delivery exceptions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Cleveland metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs
- Proficiency with mobile technology and delivery management apps
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for communication and navigation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
