Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on traffic and weather conditions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and package sorting at distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban delivery environments
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
