Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages, food, and goods throughout Tucson metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure efficient, on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for weather or traffic conditions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Familiarity with Tucson streets and surrounding areas (Pima County)
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery schedules
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL preferred but not mandatory
