Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Deliver goods on time while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete electronic logging (ELD) and required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Albuquerque metro area and Southwest routes
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for variable schedules including early mornings/weekends
- Must pass background check and provide 10-year employment history
