Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete electronic logs and documentation accurately
- Report maintenance issues and perform pre/post-trip inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings
