Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial destinations across Columbus and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking systems for real-time route optimization
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on weather and traffic conditions
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintaining organized cargo space
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent commercial driving training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area roads and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred but not required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
