Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods to designated locations using company-provided vehicles
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery statuses and communicate delays
- Load/unload packages securely and verify delivery accuracy with electronic scanning
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle interior/exterior daily
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Virginia road systems
- Proven reliability and punctuality in previous employment
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
