Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to designated locations throughout San Antonio
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address client inquiries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Handle fragile or temperature-sensitive shipments with specialized care protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and delays proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in commercial or delivery settings
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio streets, highways, and delivery zones
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
