Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Load/unload packages with precision, ensuring zero damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Optimize routes to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain operational readiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery apps
