Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver high-value packages and time-sensitive materials across Dallas/Fort Worth
- Utilize GPS navigation and route planning software to maximize efficiency and meet strict delivery deadlines
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, including proof-of-signature procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and optimize routes
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and maneuver packages in various weather conditions
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management skills with ability to maintain strict schedules
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team coordination
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends during peak seasons
