Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to customers within designated San Jose routes using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain excellent customer service through friendly interactions and order accuracy verification
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize fuel efficiency
- Manage cashless payment transactions and maintain accurate delivery records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with restaurant partners to ensure order readiness and special instructions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs during deliveries
- Strong knowledge of San Jose streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills and customer service mindset
- Smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
