Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across California and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal route planning and delivery scheduling
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete electronic logging systems and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of hazmat regulations (HME certification preferred)
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must pass comprehensive background check
