Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) to deliver freight on time
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adapting to traffic conditions
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Submit delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania roadways and border states
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems and mobile apps
