Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs and delivery documentation
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Nebraska roadways and regulations
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Previous experience with flatbed/dry van trailers preferred
