Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within San Diego
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Verify recipient identities and obtain signatures for deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update tracking systems in real-time
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Reliable personal vehicle (SUV or truck preferred) with valid insurance
- Smartphone with data plan for route navigation and package tracking
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Basic proficiency with mobile apps and digital tracking systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Local San Diego area knowledge is highly beneficial
