Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight on scheduled routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Handle documentation including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adapt to changing conditions including weather and traffic in mountainous terrain
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and Colorado mountain corridors
- Experience with refrigerated/hazardous materials preferred
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
