Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers over various road conditions and terrains.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) available upon request.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
