Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with clients for on-time deliveries
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory handling and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven on-time delivery record
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Durham/Wake County area
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft)
