Job Overview
As a Freight Driver for Orlando Freight Hub, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their workmanship and adhere to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in safe condition.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure placement.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- At least 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and paperwork.
