Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries within Plano and surrounding areas
- Manage loading/unloading procedures while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and expense documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and coordinate routine maintenance
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Uphold company standards for customer service and cargo security
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or commercial vehicle operation experience
- Reliable box truck (26' or larger) with valid commercial insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Plano/Dallas metro area roadways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for minor repairs
