Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain meticulous DOT compliance logs and pre/post-trip inspections
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Uphold strict safety standards and represent the company professionally
- Document delivery exceptions and resolve shipment discrepancies
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and Indiana regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT physical certification and required medical documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
