Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain assigned 24-26ft box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Manage delivery schedules, route optimization, and timely customer communications
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure on-time service delivery
- Uphold company safety standards and DOT compliance requirements
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through professional service
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude for preventive maintenance
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Reliable personal vehicle for non-commercial use
- Proof of general liability insurance ($1M minimum)
