Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck (24-26 ft) for regional freight deliveries within Northern California
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper securement techniques
- Submit daily trip reports and documentation through our digital platform
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Own or have access to a 24-26 ft box truck in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Northern California geography and highways
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital reporting
