Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Virginia and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Represent Richmond Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A license through our training program
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Basic math skills for loading/unloading documentation
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- No prior CDL experience required – we train!
