Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques using provided equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines while prioritizing safety
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
