Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across the Southeast
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Verify cargo documentation and secure loads per DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips (home weekly)
