Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Resolve delivery exceptions and communicate with clients professionally
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of recent commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings
