Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment to ensure safety and prevent damage.
- Verify cargo contents upon loading and unloading to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage, and delivery records (E-Logs preferred).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical reliability.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable freight driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
