Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of cargo using specialized equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Document delivery paperwork and handle customer communications professionally
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize loading efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
