Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Ensure secure handling of specialized freight (e.g., medical, retail)
- Build client relationships through professional service
- Comply with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Personal box truck (24-26ft) in good condition
- Proven experience in local/regional freight transport
- Strong knowledge of Toledo metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
