Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional freight transport
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle hazardous materials shipments with proper certification
- Maintain clean and organized cab environment
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Hazmat endorsement required (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of western US highway systems
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Excellent time management and communication skills
