Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during stop deliveries and pickups.
- Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the dispatch team.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
