Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and strict safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles before/after trips
- Document shipments, logs, and incident reports accurately
- Collaborate with logistics team for load optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills and route planning aptitude
- Flexibility for overnight regional travel
- Excellent time management and communication skills
