Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight trucks following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete comprehensive paid training program to obtain Class A CDL license
- Load/unload freight efficiently while ensuring proper cargo securement
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety and compliance
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and documentation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- No CDL required – we provide all necessary training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and sit for extended periods
