Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes within San Antonio and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flexibility for personal commitments
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and follow all safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and reliable service
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and timing
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio metropolitan area and Texas highway systems
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 70 pounds repeatedly
