Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and delivery points
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic data
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and lifting techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse staff
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic logging system entries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our paid training
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- High school diploma or equivalent required
