Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs using electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for using electronic logging systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 21 years or older
