Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to deliver goods across the Tampa metropolitan area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required (training available for qualified candidates).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
